Saudi Arabian Airlines reduces fuel consumption by 159,800 tons

Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAA) has succeeded in reducing fuel consumption by about 159,800 tons in 2008, in line with the program set by the International Air Transport Associated (IATA), Jeddah-based Okaz newspaper reported today. Meanwhile, the flying hours of all SAA flights in 2008 amounted to 375,482 hours, compared to 267,438 hours in 2007.
