Prince Khalid bin Sultan receives Chairman of U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff

Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General for Military Affairs, received Adm. Mike Mullen, Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, and his delegation in Riyadh today. During the meeting, the two sides discussed Saudi-U.S. relations and other topics of mutual interest. The session was attended by Deputy Chief of the General Staff Lt. Gen. Hussein bin Abdullah Al-Qabeel; Commander of the Saudi Royal Air Force Lt. Gen. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Ayesh; and U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom James B. Smith.
During his time in the Kingdom, Adm. Mullen also met with Saudi National Guard officials, including Assistant Deputy Chief of the National Guard Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz Al-Tuwaijri.
