Crown Prince bestows medal on Pakistani Army Chief

Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz received the Chief of Pakistan’s Army, Gen. Raheel Sharif, and his accompanying delegation in Riyadh today. At the outset, the Crown Prince welcomed the guests, wishing them a pleasant stay. For his part, Gen. Sharif expressed his appreciation for the generous hospitality received by him and his delegation. During the talks that followed, the two sides reviewed prospects for further Saudi-Pakistani cooperation and reviewed various matters of common concern.

Subsequently, Crown Prince Salman decorated the Pakistani Army Chief with the King Abdulaziz Medal of the Excellent Grade, at the behest of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz.

The audience was attended by Chief of the Crown Prince’s Court Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz; Chief of the General Staff Gen. Hussein bin Abdullah Al-Qabil; Deputy Chief of the General Staff Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al-Bunyan; and a number of other officials.
