Royal Guard Command transformed into Presidency of the Royal Guard

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz today issued a royal degree changing name of the “Royal Guard Command” to the “Presidency of the Royal Guard” and appointing Khalid al-Tuwaijri head of the Presidency of the Royal Guard at the rank of minister, in addition to his position as President of the Royal Court and private secretary to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah.  The royal order also changes the title of “Commander of the Royal Guard” to “Deputy Head of the Royal Guard” and names General Hamad bin Mohammad Al-Ohali.
