King Abdullah meets with Lebanese prime minister

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz met with Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Siniora at the royal ranch in Jenadriyah today.
They discussed the current situation in Lebanon and the Arab League initiative to resolve the political crisis there. Lebanon has been without a president since November 2007, and elections for a new president have been postponed.
Earlier this month, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Saud Al-Faisal urged Syria to use its influence in Lebanon to persuade parties to accept the Arab League initiative.
In related news, King Abdullah discussed the latest regional and international developments in a telephone call with Jordanian King Abdullah II today. Bilateral relations were also addressed.
