Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education for Scholarship Affairs Dr. Abdullah bin Al-Moussa reported yesterday that 62,000 students have been sent on foreign scholarships during the last four years as part of the Program of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Foreign Scholarships. In a statement on the occasion of the launch of the 5th phase of the program in Riyadh, Dr. Al-Moussa noted that his ministry has tried to send students to a wide range of countries, rather than concentrating them in one or two nations. Currently, the program encompasses 19 specializations in 24 countries.
