Rebirth of a Historic Center

The King Abdul Aziz Historic Center in Riyadh, which opened on January 22 to commemorate the centennial of the recapture of Riyadh by King Abdul Aziz Ibn Abdul Rahman Al-Saud, includes restored historic structures and modern buildings for the National Museum of Antiquities, libraries, an auditorium and archives.

King Faisal Foundation:
A Unique Philanthropic Institution
Set up in 1976 to promote the principles of philanthropy that are firmly rooted in Islamic teachings and Arab traditions, the King Faisal Foundation in Riyadh has funded hundreds of humanitarian projects throughout the world.
King Saud University:
The Kingdom's Oldest and Largest
King Saud University is the oldest institution of higher learning in Saudi Arabia, offering graduate and post-graduate degrees in a wide range of fields to its 50,000 students, both at the main campus in Riyadh and at colleges in Qassim Province and Jizan.

Markaz Al-Aoun (Help Center) in Jeddah provides a friendly environment dedicated to developing to the fullest the potential of children with physical and mental limitations.

Helping Those with Speech and Hearing Disorders
The Jeddah for Speech and Hearing (JISH) is an example of how private Saudi citizens seek to contribute to the improvement of the lives of those with special needs.
