The Arab Gulf Programme for United Nations Developmental Organizations (AGFUND) has donated $200,000 to the relief efforts in Bangladesh, which was recently struck by a devastating cyclone.

On November 18, the Kingdom announced a $100 million grant to Bangladesh to meet the immediate needs of those affected by the cyclone. Saudi Arabia also announced that it would dispatch cargo planes laden with medical supplies, relief materials, and foodstuffs to ease the suffering in Bangladesh.
