Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz received a message from King Muhammad VI of Morocco today. The message was conveyed by Moroccan Foreign Minister Muhammad Ben Aissa during a meeting with the King at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh. Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Saud Al-Faisal was also present.

Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz met separately with Ben Aissa for talks about issues of mutual interest.

Ben Aissa was in the Kingdom to co-chair the 10th session of the Saudi-Moroccan Joint Committee, which concluded two days of deliberations today. Prince Saud also served as co-chair.

The two foreign ministers also held bilateral talks on regional issues, in particular King Abdullah’s invitation to Palestinian leaders to convene a meeting in Makkah so that they can discuss their differences.
