The 22nd Jenadriyah National Festival for Heritage and Culture will begin on February 14. The weeklong festival, organized each year by the National Guard, showcases Saudi Arabia’s rich cultural heritage with exhibits including traditional arts and crafts, poetry, singing and dancing.

This year’s opening ceremony will include the traditional camel race and musical performances by famous Saudi singers. 

The festival will also include competitions on memorizing and reciting the Holy Qur’an, a book fair, a fine arts exhibit, lectures on various cultural and religious topics, plays, and night poetry sessions.

Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman will each participate in this year’s festival with separate pavilions.
