King Abdullah discusses peace process with Jordanian monarch

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz met with King Abdullah II of Jordan in Riyadh yesterday for talks about Arab, Islamic and international issues, in particular the Middle East peace process and the upcoming peace summit in Annapolis, Maryland. Iraq, Lebanon and areas of bilateral cooperation were also discussed.

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal announced Friday that he would attend the Annapolis conference, which begins November 27.

In related news, King Abdullah discussed Middle East issues with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad in a phone call yesterday.
