Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs, left Amman today after a one-day visit to the Hashemite Kingdom. During the visit, Prince Saud, along with Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit, held talks with King Abdullah II of Jordan. They discussed regional issues, particularly developments in the Palestinian territories as well as efforts being made to revive the peace process and increase Arab cooperation. The talks are part of an ongoing consultation among the three countries. King Abdullah II also briefed the foreign ministers on his recent talks with U.S. President George W. Bush.
