19th Arab League Summit will begin Wednesday

The 19th Arab League summit will start deliberations in Riyadh on Wednesday, March 28 under the leadership of the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques,  King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz.  The Foreign Minister, Prince Saud Al-Faisal, believes the summit will provide an opportunity for Arab leaders to take a unified stand for upcoming challenges.

During the two day summit, Arab leaders will review a number of topics including related to Palestine, Iraq, Lebanon, Darfur and Somalia. Other topics will include discussions regarding proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, economic issues, and social concerns.

The Kingdom that the two-day summit will embody the aspirations of the Arab nation, including the issues of credibility and the ability to face future challenges.  The participants in the summit will focus on economic integration and the facilitation of trade between Arab countries.
