Saudi students to attend international science fair in the US

Twelve Saudi high school students have been selected to participate in the International Science and Engineering Fair next month in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Saudi Aramco reported on its website last week.

The Saudi delegation will consist of six boys and six girls from across the Kingdom. They were selected on the basis of their achievements at the first Saudi Science Fair, held March 16 in Al-Khobar.

Saudi Aramco is coordinating the Kingdom’s participation in the international science fair. Several private companies are sponsoring the trip.

More than 1,500 high school students from across the globe are participating in this year’s fair, which takes place May 13-19 in Albuquerque.
