On behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah, Crown Prince Sultan opened a conference on technological developments in national security efforts today in Riyadh.
The four-day conference, titled “Information Technology and National Security,” is organized by the Presidency of General Intelligence. A number of international experts, researchers, academics and persons concerned with information technology and national security are expected to participate in the conference.
During the opening of the conference, Crown Prince Sultan inaugurated the Presidency of General Intelligence’s web site as well as an exhibition being held on the sidelines of the conference.
In honor of the Presidency’s 50th anniversary, the Crown Prince bestowed medals on former Chiefs of General Intelligence, including Prince Nawaf bin Abdulaziz and Prince Turki Al-Faisal.
