Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz presided over the weekly cabinet session held in Riyadh.  Mr. Khalid Al-Gosaibi, Minister of Economy and Planning and Acting Minister of Culture and Information, emphasized that resolving the murder of Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Alhariri will bring peace to the region.

The Cabinet members stated that Israel’s constant aggression requires a decisive and unified plan to stop the bloodshed in Palestinian territories.  Israel must be required to adhere to international regulations and bi-lateral agreements.

There was also a discussion regarding the Kingdom’s strong and growing economy, according to Al-Gosaibi. He stated that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques seeks to enhance the development process by building economic institutions, creating opportunities for investment and providing an educated workforce.
