UAE Minister meets with Pakistan's Prime Minister to discuss trade and bilateral relations

United Arab Emirates Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Pakistani Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz to discuss bilateral, regional and international issues.  Prime Minister Aziz reported that Pakistan is using its unique geographic location to promote economic cooperation and to act as an anchor of peace and stability in the region. The prime minister said Pakistan values its relations with the UAE and is keen to further expand cooperation in all fields, especially in the economic, commercial, investment, manpower, energy and defense sectors.


Prime Minister Aziz emphasized the importance of the Free Trade Agreement between Pakistan and the GCC. He said that the attractive demographics of Pakistan have created growing economic opportunities.
