Saudi tourism chief visits Spain to discuss restoring historic palaces

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Commission for Tourism (SCT), Prince Sultan bin Salman, today concluded a visit to Spain. The visit highlights the close cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Spain in the field of tourism.

During his visit, Prince Sultan met with top officials of the Madrid-based company Paradores, which specializes in restoring historic palaces and converting them to hotels.  During the meeting, Prince Sultan and Chairman Antoni Costa discussed cooperation between the SCT and Paradores in this field.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques paid an official visit to Spain last week. The King’s visit is expected to boost Saudi-Spanish cooperation in a number of areas, including tourism.
