Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz stressed the importance of resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in a telephone conversation with President George W. Bush last night.

King Abdullah told President Bush that the Palestinian people must achieve their national rights and unity of land and people. The King also reiterated that Palestinians and other Arab countries have chosen peace and adopted a comprehensive peace initiative, namely the Arab Peace Initiative.

The two leaders also discussed other regional issues as well as bilateral cooperation.
