Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz met with Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov at the guest palace in Makkah last night. During the meeting, Kadyrov relayed a personal message from Russian President Vladimir Putin to King Abdullah. They also discussed numerous issues of mutual interest.

President Kadyrov is currently on a brief visit to the Kingdom to perform the umrah. Yesterday, he participated in the washing ceremony of the Holy Ka’abah in Makkah. The president visited the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah today before departing Saudi Arabia.
