Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Saud Al-Faisal Wednesday delivered a speech at the closing session of the periodic meeting for Saudi ambassadors in Riyadh. The five-day meeting began November 25.
In his remarks, Prince Saud thanked Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz for their approval to convene the meeting. He also commended the royal directives that will be pursued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Saudi missions abroad, noting that the directives indicated a commitment to Islamic ideals and values including peace, friendship and tolerance.
The King and Crown Prince also stressed a commitment to serving Saudi citizens abroad, highlighting the Kingdom’s international reputation and enhancing relations with other nations and international organizations, Prince Saud said.
