Meals continue to be distributed to pilgrims in Makkah, in line with a directive of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz.  Two refrigerated trailers will each distribute 12,000 meals daily.

Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Ghammas, Director General of the Saudi Company of Supply Provision, said that since the beginning of the month of Dhu Al-Hajjah, 24,000 meals have been distributed daily in Makkah, as well as 300,000 in Arafat, 100,000 in Muzdalifa and 200,000 in Mina.
