French President Chirac visits the Kingdom

French President Jacques Chirac arrived in the Kingdom today for a three-day official visit.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz welcomed President Chirac at the airport, then hosted a dinner in his honor.

Tomorrow, King Abdullah and President Chirac will attend the opening of an Islamic art exhibit at Saudi Arabia’s National Museum. The exhibit, which is being held by the Louvre Museum in Paris, has been organized in cooperation with the Supreme Commission for Tourism.

Also tomorrow, President Chirac will make a historic address to the Shura Council. He is the first foreign dignitary to do so.
