Saudi organization to provide quilts for Pakistani quake victims

Saudi Popular Relief Campaign for the Pakistani People has signed a contract with a Pakistani firm to manufacture an additional 80,000 quilts as part of its ongoing relief efforts for victims of the October 8 earthquake.

The Saudi aid organization has to date provided millions of riyals in relief aid to victims of the quake, including more than a hundred trucks filled with aid to affected Pakistani provinces.

Regional Director Abdullah Al-Anqari said that the aid, which was collected by the Saudi government and people, included blankets, tents, flour, rice, cooking oil, dry fish, dry milk, sugar, dates, flour, medicine and medical equipment.
