The secretary-general of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, met with a Palestinian delegation led by Hamas political bureau leader Khaled Mashaal in Jeddah today.

They discussed developments in the Palestinian situation, in particular the aftermath of Hamas’ election victory. Ihsanoglu stressed the OIC’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people, and said that international aid to the Palestinians must continue.
