In remarks to the press today, Hamas political bureau leader Khaled Mashaal said that his visit to Saudi Arabia had been a success. Talks with Saudi officials focused on various Palestinian issues, including the Arab Peace Initiative, Mashaal said. He also expressed appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s ongoing support for the Palestinians.
