The 7th Saudi-Japanese Business Council met today in Riyadh, with Minister of Economy and Planning Khaled Al-Qusaibi in attendance.

Al-Qusaibi underscored the council’s important role in enhancing bilateral relations, and said that the agenda of the meeting included a number of important issues, such as the Kingdom’s accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the Eighth Development Plan.

In related matters, Al-Qusaibi said that the upcoming visit of Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz to Japan will considerably enhance bilateral cooperation between the two nations in all fields, including investment, cultural exchange and training.
