Saudi Ambassador visits Seattle for outreach program

Saudi Ambassador to the United States Prince Turki Al-Faisal visited Seattle, Washington as part of an outreach program on March 24.

In remarks  to the World Affairs Council of Seattle, Prince Turki discussed the close Saudi-US relationship and fielded questions about a wide range of foreign policy issues, including Iran’s nuclear ambitions, the war in Iraq and the Middle East peace process. The event was moderated by former Washington State Governor Gary Locke.

The ambassador also met with Saudi students attending educational institutions in the Seattle area.




In addition, Prince Turki visited the Boeing Commercial Airplane Headquarters, where he was briefed on the 787 Dreamliner and toured the Boeing 737 factory in Renton.
