Moroccan conjoined twins Hafsah and Elham have been moved from intensive care into the children’s ward. The girls were successfully separated at the National Guard’s King Abdulaziz Medical City March 6.

Dr Abdullah Al-Rabea, executive director for health affairs at the King Abdulaziz Medical City and head of the surgical team who separated the twins, said that in the coming weeks they would undergo rehabilitation and physical therapy on their lower limbs so that they can stand and walk.
