Saudi border guards foil drug smuggling attempt in Najran Province

Saudi border guards in the southern province of Najran foiled an attempt to smuggle 233 kg of hashish in the Kingdom.

Drug traffickers were attempting to transport the drugs across the Kingdom’s mountainous border area when they were detected by border guards, and fire was exchanged. Guards subsequently arrested a number of the smugglers and confiscated the hashish.

Governor of Najran Province Prince Mishaal bin Saud praised the border guards’ efforts.
