Second Saudi relief plane dispatched to Indonesia

A second Saudi relief plane was dispatched to Indonesia today, in line with directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to provide aid to the victims of the May 27 earthquake on Java. The plane carried 61 tons of relief aid, including tents, blankets and foodstuffs.

A cargo plane carrying 73 tons of relief materials including foodstuffs, tents, blankets and medicine arrived in Indonesia May 30. Immediately after the earthquake, King Abdullah extended $5 million in urgent financial assistance to Indonesia.
