King Abdullah also attended an event held in his honor by the citizens of Qassim Province today. In his remarks, King Abdullah stressed his commitment to Shari’ah law and the unity of the Kingdom. “God willing, we are nearing a promising future – a future of prosperity and progress that will surround the entire region,” the King said.
The King performed Friday prayer at the King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Mosque in Buraydah today.
Prior to his visit to Buraydah, King Abdullah toured the Eastern Province to launch a variety of projects, including Hail University and Jubail Industrial City II.
