Bodies of two Saudi Guantanamo detainees repatriated to the Kingdom

The Interior Ministry announced today that the bodies of two Saudi detainees have been returned to the Kingdom from the US military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Spokesman Mansour Al-Turki said in a statement that the bodies were taken to a hospital for medical examinations and other standard procedures. The families of the two men have been informed, he added.

The Ministry confirmed the deaths of the two Saudis at Guantanamo on June 11. They have been identified as Manie bin Shaman bin Turki Al-Habardi Al-Otaibi and Yasser Talal Abdullah Yahya Al-Zahrani.
