Saudi relief aid for Kenya, Afghanistan

Saudi relief aid was distributed in Kenya today, in line with directives by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz. Kenya received $2 million of the $10 million in aid that the Kingdom donated to nations in Horn of Africa in cooperation with the World Food Program.

In related news, King Abdullah has approved a plan to distribute relief aid to the people of Afghanistan. The plan was outlined in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Saudi Committee for the Relief of the Afghan People and the World Food Program (WFP).
