Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu Prince Saud Bin Abdullah Bin Thunyan opened the expansion of the Jubail Center for Down Syndrome in Damman recently, The Saudi Gazette reported today.

The center provides educational, rehabilitation, recreational, social and health care to children with Down Syndrome. It also helps them gain self-confidence in practicing normal functions and provides guidance and training to families with specific attention to mothers of children with Down Syndrome. The center also provides community-based rehabilitation programs to integrate the children with Down Syndrome into the community and the schools.
