Saudi field hospital treats over 1,000 patients its first week

The Saudi field hospital in Beirut has treated 1,017 patients so far since it was officially opened on July 31. The hospital is able to conduct both minor and major operations, and includes laboratories as well as ambulances. It is supervised by the Saudi Red Crescent Society.

The field hospital is part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian assistance to the people of Lebanon, who are suffering as a result of the Israeli strikes on Lebanon.
