The Ministry of Defense and Aviation reported yesterday that an Eritrean Russian-made MI-17 helicopter entered Saudi airspace on Friday and made emergency contact with a Saudi airport before landing safely in Jizan. The pilot and his assistant sought political asylum.  The incident is under investigation, the Ministry of Defense and Aviation reported.
