King Abdullah: Islam will remain strong in spite of attacks

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz received a delegation of Sunni Muslim scholars from Iraq and 31 Muslim scholars from Africa at Al-Safa Palace in Makkah yesterday.


In remarks on the occasion, King Abdullah said that Islam would remain strong despite efforts by enemies to weaken the faith and its followers.

The King noted the delegation from Iraq, and said that they prove that Islam will remain strong in spite of attacks against it.

King Abdullah and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz are currently in Makkah to spend the last days of Ramadan in the vicinity of the Grand Mosque.
