Saudi Aramco executive named one of the world’s top 25 female managers

A Saudi executive at Saudi Aramco has been named one of the world’s top female project managers by the American trade magazine Projects Management Network, the Saudi Gazette reported today.

Nabeela Al-Tunisi, a Saudi citizen, is the Director of Supporting Administration and Projects Monitoring Methods for Aramco. She joined the company in 1982 as a data systems engineer and has held a number of posts since then. She also holds a Master’s degree in computer engineering.

“Although the oil industry has been man’s monopoly, this didn’t prevent Nabeela from joining the department last June when she was promoted to the post of Director for Supporting Administration and Methods of Monitoring Projects, leading a department including a highly trained team in supporting and administrating huge projects of the giant Aramco,” the magazine noted in its October 2006 issue.
