Saudi Arabia today signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding with Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates to enhance cooperation in information technology. On the Saudi side, the agreement was signed by the Governor of the General Organization for Technical Education and Vocational Training (GOTEVOT), Ali Al-Ghufais.
The agreement will help prepare Saudis for careers in information technology, Al-Ghufais said.
Gates is in the Kingdom to deliver the keynote address at the Global Competitiveness Forum Series in Riyadh today. It is the first-ever visit to Saudi Arabia for the Microsoft founder and noted philanthropist.
