The two appointees, Madawi Al-Hassoun and Olfat Qabbani, were among 17 women candidates in November’s elections for the JCCI board. Their appointments bring the total number of women on the board to four. Lama Al-Sulaiman and Nashwa Taher were elected to the board in the historic November ballot.
The Ministry also appointed four businessmen to the board. They are Mohammed Al-Mutlaq, Abdullah ibn Mahfooz, Ibrahim Al-Subaiea and Abdullah Ridwan.
