GCC education workshop in Jeddah ends with recommendations

The first workshop on higher education held in Jeddah by King Abdulaziz University (KAAU) concluded by issuing recommendations that are expected to improve the content of education systems and be of help not only to the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) but the entire Arab world. The recommendations of the two-day meeting include setting up an educational foundation, adopting electronic technology, improving curricula, establishing a service center to address the particular problems of female students, and working to provide jobs for graduates by building bridges between educational institutions and private industry.
