The Ministry of Interior issued a statement today naming four more of the militants killed in last week’s raid in a residential area of Ar-Rass in Qasim Province, in which 15 suspects were killed, 5 arrested, and one surrendered.

In addition to the ten militants identified on April 9, the following, all Saudi nationals, were killed.

1. Naif bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Aoshan: He is known to have been active in Afghanistan. When he joined the Saudi Al-Qaeda group he worked on propaganda on the Internet and was involved in acts of forgery.
2. Waleed bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sama'ni: In addition to participating in attacks on security officers, he provided safe houses for deviants in Qasim, and spread propaganda on the Internet.
3. Miteb bin Hilal bin Minawer Al-Maqati: He cooperated with the deviant group, providing logistics and recruiting young people.
4. Saad bin Mohammed bin Sulaiman Al-Aqeel: He was involved in attacking security officers, and was wanted in particular for stealing a car to be used in a criminal act that was foiled.

The fifth suspect killed at Ar-Rass will be identified in due course.
