Shura Council forms itself into 12 committees

The Consultative Council (Majlis Al-Shura) yesterday held its first regular working session in its fourth term. The membership, increased for this term from 120 to 150, formed itself into twelve committees, an increase of one, with human rights added to security, economics, finance, foreign affairs, public services, transportation and communications, social and health services, culture and information, administration, Islamic affairs, and education. The committees met separately yesterday to choose their chairmen and deputy chairmen.
