Praise for security forces involved in Makkah raid

Governor of Makkah Province Prince Abdulmajeed bin Abdulaziz today visited the security officers hospitalized following Thursday’s raid in Makkah, and praised their heroism. He also offered his condolences to the families of Corporal Ahmed bin Hamed Al-Khuzaie and Private First Class Hamad bin Ali Al-Sharif who were killed during the incident. Yesterday, Prince Muhammad bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Interior for Security Affairs, visited the injured men, and paid tribute to their bravery in defense of their nation. He also received the families and relatives of the two security officers who were killed, and conveyed to them condolences from Minister of Interior Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz. Earlier, Prince Muhammad had led worshippers at funeral prayers for those who died, after Friday prayer at the Grand Mosque in Makkah.

Meanwhile, an Interior Ministry spokesman affirmed today that the concerned authorities are still in process of measures to identify the two militants who were killed.
