Saudi Arabia continues to help tsunami victims in Aceh

Saudi Arabia is continuing to deliver relief assistance to the Indonesian province of Aceh, which was severely affected by December’s tsunami. The Kingdom’s aid, dispatched in three installments, is comprised of 29 containers with a total weight of just over 560 tons of foodstuffs. Ten of these have already been delivered to the Indonesian Red Cross Society. In addition, there are a number of projects under preparation, including the provision of mobile clinics and the establishment of five health centers; and programs to benefit 500 families, and to re-equip a number of medical units at the Zein Al-Abdin Hospital.
