Interior minister offers Saudi cooperation on London bombings

Interior Minister Prince Nayef called the London bombings a crime, and expressed the hope that British security forces will reach the truth about the bombings and those who perpetrated them. He noted that there are Saudi-British security contacts, and expressed Saudi Arabia’s readiness to provide Britain with any cooperation as well as information when it is available.

The prince stressed that unless there is international action to choke off the sources of terrorism everywhere, it will continue.

As for those individuals who have gone to Iraq, Prince Nayef said he expects all bad consequences from them. If they are not similar to those who were trained in Afghanistan, they will be worse. The Kingdom is prepared for them, the prince said, adding that he hoped they will come to their senses.
