The Consultative Council (Majlis al-Shura ), in today’s session, condemned the bombings in London and called on the international community to stand firm against terrorist actions that aim to spread chaos and terror in all societies. The Council stressed that such acts are denounced by religions, human values and norms.

The Council also denounced the killing of the Egyptian envoy to Iraq, Dr. Ihab al-Sharif, by kidnappers in Iraq.
