Prince Salman speaks of reform at press conference

Governor of Riyadh Province Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, at a press conference yesterday, commented that the enthusiasm shown by Saudi citizens in pledging allegiance to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz demonstrates the close relationship that exists between the people and their leaders, who, he said, are capable of confronting all challenges. He went on to state that reform is important, and will continue. Asked about the possible election of members of the Consultative Council (Majlis Al-Shura), he said this issue would be dealt with in the future, but meantime the expansion of membership itself constitutes a reform. On unemployment, he said it is essential to find jobs for young Saudis, and to train them appropriately.
