King Abdullah, Crown Prince Sultan receive Nelson Mandela in Jeddah

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz received at his palace in Jeddah today former President of South Africa Nelson Mandela, who is on a short visit to the Kingdom. Mandela extended his condolences to King Abdullah on the recent sad demise of King Fahd. Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector-General, also received condolences from Mr. Mandela.


Yesterday, King Abdullah received former President of Iran Mohammad Khatami, who then performed umrah (the minor pilgrimage) and visited the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.
